You'll want to put this ranch dressing on EVERYTHING!
I had such a fun weekend in the kitchen! Even though it was pretty toasty outside I got the oven and stove top heated up and made recipe after recipe I had been wanting to try.
These recipes ran the gamut from homemade sourdough herb crackers to dehydrated chicken feet for Vinny and everything in between! The one thing every recipe had in common was taking advantage of seasonal foods we raise here on the farm or are able to purchase from other local farms.
The highlight and winner I would love to share with you is homemade ranch dipping sauce that we used on a fresh garden salad and to dip our chicken wings in. You will want to put this dressing on everything!!
Ranch Dressing
Ingredients
½ C buttermilk (we like Hornstra Farms)
1 heaping T thick greek yogurt (optional to thicken the dressing)
½ t Hippy Pilgrim Original Garlic Salt
1 T fresh dill, finely chopped
1 T fresh chives, finely chopped
1 T fresh parsley, finely chopped
Instructions
Using a whisk, whip the mayonnaise, buttermilk and yogurt together in a bowl.
Add remaining ingredients to buttermilk mixture and whisk together.
This can be made ahead of time and kept in the refrigerator. Flavors come together more as dressing sits.
